United Airlines is updating its MileagePlus program for Chase credit card holders, allowing them to earn more Premier qualifying Points (PQPs) for every dollar spent. The changes include removing the annual PQP cap and increasing earning rates, making it easier to achieve loyalty status. Glad to see some airlines looking out for the customer unlike *cough* Delta *cough*.
Lyft is introducing an on-time pick-up guarantee, offering up to $100 in Lyft Cash if a scheduled ride is late. If a driver is more than 10 minutes late, passengers receive $20 in Lyft Cash, and if not matched with a driver within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, they get $50. Additionally, if a rider opts for alternative transportation to the airport due to a missed Lyft ride, they can claim an extra $50 in Lyft Cash, totaling $100.
